
Ok, so getting out the door on time is a hassle, and you never feel like there is enough time to make breakfast. Well, this could be a game-changer for you, I know it has been for me. I’d heard of overnight oats but had never actually tried it, now I have it for breakfast every day. Why is it so great? Because it’s sitting in the fridge for you come breakfast time you don’t have to do anything other than grabbing it out of the refrigerator.
What You’ll Need
1/2 cup oats
Any milk you like, I like almond or coconut
1 tablespoon vanilla protein
What You’ll Do
Add 1/2 cup quick oats into a container
Add vanilla protein powder
Cover dry ingredients with milk
Mix oats, protein and milk together
Add any flavour you like, eg chopped banana, peanut butter, walnuts, cinnamon etc
Pop the lid on and leave it in the fridge overnight. The oats will absorb the milk and protein and taste amazing come the morning.
Make It Fancy
If you have time you can top it with honey, fresh fruit or nuts before you eat it.
